Uncut common gems.....

Looking for some explanation on this. A stack of uncut common gems vendors for 100g, and you see them listed in the AH for 5-8g/ea(100-160g/stack), and they cost 60g to list ! Why would anyone not just vendor them ? I have found this to be the case with all uncommon except Carnelian as those suckers sell for 30g/ea ( 600g/stack).

Ok so maybe people are just not paying attention to the AH listing fee. What are your thoughts as to why the Carnelian sell for so much more ? Are red gems really in that high of a demand ? I also read somewhere that you can make some profit by making Carnelian Spikes and then DEing them ?

Ive found on my server that the AH is completly trashed for Gems.

The way ive been making my gold latly is via private buyers.

I mass farm Elementium ore for Guild members, They buy it in bulks of 100-300 stacks a time for a set fee (usualy 40-60g a stack, depending on ah price at that time) they prospect it and sell the gems.

The reason i done prospect n sell is this saves me alot of time messing around on the AH and prospecting the ore but i do sell any gems and volitiles i get whilst mining on ah.

Latly ive lose a lot of business due to someone messing our ah up, we have had alot of the time gems up for under vendor prices, things like inferno rubys sold for around 160-200g are now placed upon the AH for around 15-20g each, its stupidly low, even if you bot you don't sell items for that low which are worth so much more ><

so you aint the only server who is having issues so far
