Here is my set up. I run my main account on an IMAC, my primary is an 85 human death knight. I invited myself using recruit a friend and created a second account. I have the second account running on a PC, as I was unable to find a Mac version of HB. I then created a human hunter on both the main account, and new account, and leveled them both to 10 in Stormwind and Elwyn. I installed and used Tortoise SVN to load the most popular "all class" CC I could find.
I want to be able to:
1. On the PC, have HB operate one of the low toons, (~lvl 13 human hunters) from either account to gather herbs and mining nodes with only moderate supervision; or
2. On the PC, have HB operate one the low toons, (~lvl 13 human hunters) from either account to quest for experience with only moderate supervision.
3. On the PC, have the HB operate a low toon from one account, while I manually run another toon from the other account on the Imac, with the toons grouped and the HB toon following me and providing support fire; if this is not possible on two different machines, then I need to know how to get two instances of WoW/Honor buddy operating on one PC.
4. On the PC, have HB run a toon through a PvP battleground.
5. on the PC, have HB handle the combat rotations for a toon, while I manually move and target select that same toon.
By moderate supervision I mean I am sitting in the room operating another toon on another computer, watching a movie, etc. with periodic short (5 min or less) trips out of the room.
Currently, I have honorbuddy installed in its own directory, and the CC profiles in a parallel but separate directory. I can load and operate HB, and it will move the toon using the gatherbuddy2 profile, but the toon will only gather 1 or 2 nodes, if that, and then either stand motionless indefinitely, run into water and jump repeatedly, or run up to a building and stand motionless. It appears the bot cannot get the toon from one node to another. The bot will also repeatedly have the toon try to get "unstuck" by jumping, strafing sideways, and moving, even when the toon is nowhere near an obstruction. As for combat support or questing, I cannot get those bots to function at all.
I have searched the forums for guides and how to's about honorbuddy and gatherbuddy2, but many of them are either outdated, where the images do not match the HB/GAther programs I am using, or do not address how to get the programs to function. I have been reading these forums and googling the problems for 3 days now, and I simple cannot get it to work. I have posted logs from yesterdays efforts to make it work below. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
