What the heck is going on. I am running Honor Buddy 1.9.6.2827
and it was working fine all day but then about 8:30 PM EST
I started seeing this error show up in my log and Honorbuddy
just started freezing up.

I am playing on a private server but that has nothing to do with
it. It was working all day just fine and this just started this evening

So why the heck is this not able to resolve buddynav.de all of a sudden? What is
going on with your servers?

I have attached a full copy of the logs bellow as well. I have been running the
[1-60] Horde Grind [Tauren][v1.0.3][By wired420].xml profile
all day and it has worked fine now all of a sudden I am getting this.

I have no problem resolving anything else so it is an issue some where
with one of your servers. My connection is fine and resolves
everything else perfectly!

Please look into this and fix this immediately.

If that is one of the Auth server's, a Mod might want to delete that part of the message. That is if you guys are still trying to keep the addresses secret = )

As for Darkshado's problem, since patch 4.0.1 there is no working HB build atm. They said they might have a working HB in 7 days or so (this was when the patch hit, so last tuesday). Check the Releases section of the forum for a new HB when they release it.

You have no clue what you are talking about the last release was working just fine ALL day today so there is a working
version. You have no clue what the hell you are talking about.

Also if the makers of HB know what they are doing then they would have the auth servers 'www.buddynav.de'
setup a DDOS protected server with heavy DDOS protection so it really doesn't matter.

And what you were saying about because of 4.0.1 being released is totally WRONG this has worked
All day today and all weekend just fine. So that is NOT the issue here what so ever.

This version that i am running has been working just fine since last Tuesday so that is NOT even
the issue!

Unless you really know what is happening don't bother replying here and don't just guess.

You are not one of the devs so really you shouldn't even be replying to this thread you

I didn't read all of this but I saw "Private Server" private servers can run and project any wow patch. However they are NOT supported. Many errors are bound to come up and we don't support help with private server related usage. SORRY but solve it yourself haha.

BUT I can say the warnings are profile issues "outdated profiles" which really should be ignored. The nav issues probably can't be fixed.

EDIT: What honorbuddy version are you using?

EDIT2: My stupidity doesn't seem to phase me.. Could you try using another previous version? I am guessing either they have already updated the nav server for the new 4.0.1 or it is down because of HB being down, Honorbuddy isn't able to download mesh's and is freezing up (my guess im not a dev)

K well on real servers HB doesn't work because of 4.0.1 and i like how you come on here demanding the Devs to fix your issue when they're obviously not working on fixing HB for every other single user they have on here that don't play on Private servers. Good luck getting help when you explode on people trying to help.

I've been using HB fine for the past few days and just a couple hours ago, I get this message

I can requote them all I want to, and I couldn't find the one but I think tony said 99.99% of the time it wont work.

Cuss me out all you want but you payed for a retail wow bot, this is not meant to work with private servers and while it may, it will probably have issues and won't function correctly. ITS NOT BASED ON THE SAME PROGRAMMING. I even tried to help you out and probably would. And yeah I am aware its not an issue on your side.. but the servers aren't meant for private servers :P... Get a life and use the freaking search bar!

EDIT: The buddynav error is most likely caused because of an update the developers have given out to their servers, rendering the previous honorbuddys incompatible.

So at least I am not the only one then. don't go to 1.9.6.4 or some of them in between but I found that 1.9.6.2827
seems to be stable.

And the reason why I am a bit pissed is because these guys that come here and start posting random garbage
in my threads and don't have a clue what they are talking about. Really they should just keep out because
they are not helping anything.

I think these morons are just trying to get their post count up or something so they try and burst into
every thread and post garbage even though they don't have a clue what they are talking about.

It is good to know that I am not the only one getting this I was running 1.9.6.1 earlier this week and
updated to 1.9.6.2827 and found it to be just as stable.
 
I can assure you Bossland, CodenameG, Tony, Fps, Apoc, or any of the other major members here will say something like this "We don't support private servers, Sorry" You can let us help you, because they don't have time for something they don't support. A developer will help you not on this topic.

The verison I have been running has worked perfectly ALL week even after the update and 4.0.1 came
out the version was working just fine.

We do not support private servers a. B we have no released version and we do not support previous versions so... locked
 
We do not support PServers. We changed the way how we download on demand meshes for the upcomming HB.
