Welcome to the GB/HB ventrilo!

Description:
I've spoken to wired420, and asked to run a ventrilo server. I tought this would be a nice idea in order to communicate with voice instead of typing and in order to get to know the community a bit better(maybe assist with bits and pieces here and there.)

Rules and Guidelines
- Never try to spam verntrilo, you will be perm banned!
- Never use any racism, you will be perm banned!
- Do not try to come there to offend people, you will be kicked/banned!
- General rule, just try to behave. it's a free service so keep it clean.

IP: vent.rootswitch.com
Port number: 4132

Description file: Ventrilo mix is a all in one version of ventrilo 2.0 to 3.0 and Teamspeak 2.0 in 1 program.

Instructions



Step 1. Download Ventrilo
  • Go to the url, or to ventrilo.com and download ventrilo
Step 2. Install Ventrilo
  • Install ventrilo to your specific folder
  • After you finished load ventrilo
Step 3. Getting on our server
  • Make a new user account(use forum names preferably!)
  • Then click on server and New to add a new server
  • Give it the name you want that doesn't matter
  • Then fill in the above details at IP and Port (no password needed)

Step 4. Talk!
  • You've succesfully joined ventrilo and are able to talk to us!
  • Preferably set a Push-To-Talk key so you don't spam all your sound!
Reason:
We hope to see more people join day by day, in order to have a stable flow of incoming people.
if you are interested in your fellow GB/HB botter or want to have a nice talk instead of typing.

My recommendation since I was a Glider Ventrilo Mod, is that you register everyone that logs in. Otherwise since this is an open forums, everyone will be able to see the information, and it will be spammed.
 
mumble is crap! huraaayy....

Ojcamero. they can spam it but will be banned altough we might do so in the future. but first see how many numbers will join there.

Very good work guys nice to see the comunity moving in a nice way :) I will log on as soon as am home from work and say hi ^^

To who it may concern I can happily help pay towards the running off this server if it is req as this is a wonderful step for the comunity and will only evolve into some thing better good work all + rep to guys who have set up.

you can make a donation to wired420 if you like the idea, its his ventrilo server and such which goes for irc too. you don't need to but would be a nice gesture ofcourse.
 
Haha I don't have a mic because I fell in the chair once and it fell off my head.. to the floor.. downstairs.. Yay for having a computer desk near a railing.. I enjoy using a VAC to play music in vent for guildies though.. or just listenin :P

EDIT: Change the download to a regular ventrillo one because my antivirus went insane at this "Generic.dx!riv"... and it Kaboom'd the file.
