Umm?? I got something in my chat saying Notify System has been enabled

I was doing just bgbuddy and got a msg in yellow like when someone comes on line or invites you to a party that said Notify System has been enabled. A few minutes later i got an invite from someone named Blizzardgml to a group and I accepted it and then got removed from it. I can still whisper this person but when i do a shift right click on his name it does not exist.

Kinda scared :/ never seen something like that.
 
exact same thing happened to me. got invited but was already in a party so i quickly dced all my bots
 
Same thing happened to me 20 min ago on one of my Archeology bots. After I used the bots today for more than 5 hours but the char name was Blizzardgmn this time.
I tried to whisper him and worked (said omg u are a scammer who want to impersonate Blizz staff)
Then I /who and nothing appeared (prob because is under lev 20 and /who those nothing happens)
Tried then to inv to grp got the message "already in grp".

Can be some jokers playing around or Blizz for real using new methods . A bit scary for now .
 
Same thing happened to me yesterday while i was using GB. While i was farming in Blade edge i got an invite from a guy with similar name like the ones mentioned above. I was lucky i was supervising the bot that time. I whispered the guy but got no whisper back. Same as written above the guy could not be found.

Either this is big prunk going around or
 
same guy invites randomly my bots. both on eu and us. some of them got banned
 
Had this happen last night and this am when I wasn't even botting. The joker is trying to get you to go to a .cn website where you can get a tiger.

Same happened to me. the guy want to cheat you of your account. you go get your tiger:) The login of the side is well done, looks like the battle net login.

Just happend to me, he invited my alt to a party and i was there so i accepted and said "Sup?" directly - no answear and kicked directly from party :p
 
A friend played along with the guy just to see what he was up to. The guy does not even use good English, he is evidently not American and definitely not a GM. He tried to get him to use his login information on a website outside of the Blizzard network. Obviously a scammer.
 
Same happened to me when i was in a dungeon party, BUT i was not botting at all when a blizzardgml tried to invite me to group, i declined it and checked who he was, but i only got up player does not exist

I'm curious what HB has to say about this? Not an accusation, but if it's not blizz then someone outside of blizz is likely targeting HB users. My question is how?

He does invite HB users and none HB users.
The HB users come to the forum here and post about it -> you think only HB users got invited -> you listen to me and dont bother with him since he invites everyone -> you can sleep well again
 
omg this topic is hillarious...
yes i met him too, i was supervising my bot, and gues what. He probably invited like another 1000+ non boting players on my realm.
happens very often, new expansions out = new noob players= 1 of milion got succesfully scamed = chinaboy gets something to eat :)
 
omfg... the amount of stupid people here, surprises me you even know how to use HB, the invite is so they can add you to battlenet, after you accepted the invite to party once, they will forever haunt your battlenet in hope to steal your account, you will have friend requests from random chinese for ever until death do you apart.
 
Happened to me last week and I haven't touched HB in 18 months. I fear a wave coming so I don't want to risk anything on my new account atm
