Ultimate Skyshard Power Profile [+Boe Epic + Rare Farm]

I have made an amazing Skyshard farming profile in a phased area (kills Shadow-Tien Precursors).
On my server there is no one in this area, and it is amazing for farming Skyshards, BoE epics and rares; not to mention the tons of windwool cloth you will be getting.
Perks of this profile
  • You don't have to worry about getting stuck!
  • You won't have to worry about people reporting you! (Dead area)
  • You will be able to sell Alani mounts for high amounts of gold!
  • Tons of extras such as BoE epics and rares you will get while farming your Skyshards; not to mention the tons of windwool cloth you will be getting!

This profile is working for horde at the moment. I will be adding neutral mailbox and repairs soon.

I have been using this profile for well over a month now and it has farmed me many Skyshards and extras.

Looks like grindbot, so I'm guessing you run on the ground for repairs. If you want to add flight for repairs you can throw it in a quest order; though just to warn you, I tend to get stuck sometimes when flying to shrine of two moons for repairs/mail so I use halfhill.
 
if its phased what are the pre-reqs ? Quests done ? no quests done ? certain daily ?
 
The area is phased if you have not done any quests, but you can still farm this area un-phased if you have started the quests. This area also unphases if the daily quest is to kill those mobs which is not very often. Keep in mind even if you have done some of the quests the area is still good to grind in since it's a dead area.
 
Been running this from about 8pm last night to 9am this morning (so around 13 hours) and I was getting around 122 kills/hr with my freshly dinged level 90 blood death knight (ilevel 441)

However, here are my totals for loot:

16 hours of farming:
Skyshards: 1
Windwool Cloth: 35 stacks
Ancient Guo-Lai Cache Keys: 17
Motes of Harmony: 160
Greens: ~30-40
Blues: 1
Epics: 0

Have they completely nerfed the droprate of the Skyshards, or made it so they dont drop off these guys anymore? I mean surely I would have gotten one by constantly farming for 8 hours straight. I downloaded that addon that automatically accepts the BoP question as well, so I know thats not a problem. Its a great profile though, just no luck on epics or Skyshards :(

EDIT: From 11am to 2pm (3 hours) I managed to finally get a Skyshard, after a total of 16 hours of farming. Maybe I just have bad luck, but Im looking at around 8 days or so to getting the mount

2 skyshards
45 keys

made about 3k gold too :) with out selling anything

shards seem like a really really low drop chance but ill keep farming away :)
 
I have a question: I have now one skyshard, It stands on it limited, so this means when I have 10 it will never drop then?
 
Also people, pleas understand that Skyshards ARE NOT meant to be a quick 3 hour farm. They have about a .01% drop rate, meaning on average, for every 10,000 you kill, one skyshard will drop.

getting 6 in 3 days of farming is amazing
 
im currently still on 5 farmed 2k mobs yesterday not a single one but in 1.7k mobs the day before 3 :)
 
there just unique so it means you will have to form the shard once you gather 10 but you can then start again
