Two HB questions

If I put my computer screen to pause, will HB then close or get en error or something or will it work fully functioning as if my computer screen was turned on? - the light of my computer screen bothers me while I sleep and it uses more electricity :)

2nd Do you guys think its safe to bot in cata? or do you think I/we should wait a lot of time before botting again, mabye Gm's will watch every player content more in the start of cata? - I am asking this because I use HB on my main account and I don?t want it banned - if avoided by waiting a month or two
 
If you turn off your computer screen/monitor? I'll do it all the time and it doesn't effect the bot :)
 
Ok ty - just thought the bot would stop after some time :)
 
1. If you mean turn off your screen then no HB won't get any errors, I used to leave it botting overnight and turn off the screen and it was still up and running in the morning.

2. GM's will probably be busy dealing with player tickets regarding bugs/whatever, as long as you don't overdo it you should be fine, I recommend leveling to 85 without botting if it's your main account though.

yeah that is what I ment :)
2. yeah you properly got a point there, will lvl the 1st to 85 by hand to see the content and stuff, and then use HB to grind on alts, to provide with gold and mabye a little on my main to get honor :)
 
turning off the screen wont affect it at all. But if you have a laptop and want to close the lid -- you'll need to make sure that under the power settings that the "close lid" function is set to "does nothing"
 
Sorry another question

I have to ask another question can anyone help me out with this? last time I had use ground mount, but it still seems to have a problem when I die because HB doesn?t support flying mounts.

Keep in mind as soon as Cataclysm hits our poor bots will cease to work! Gatherbuddy will be updated fairly soon, but then Honorbuddy will need about a week. Its majority depends on how much the developers can get from Cataclysm Beta.. Keep in mind there is one more major patch before Cataclysm, 4.0.3, that changes the landscapes up dramatically!

When it is working you will be fine :D

Is the mount your using a flying and land mount? I am pretty sure we don't support those because if the bot jumps well your in the air and its confused.
 
Also the general consensus of the botting community is "If you care about your main, don't bot it" it has been that way forever, if your afraid of losing it, don't do it. Make a new account and bot it to 80.

I am not afraid of losing it, but if it can be avoided I will do everything there is possible ofc :)
 
Well I use dreadsteed (again HB dont use flying mounts) but when I die it rides on the spectral gryphon thing - which cant be avoided when dieing in Northrend.
 
Well anyone good at HB who know how to fix my problem? :S
 
dont HB in icecrown / sp ... thats how to avoid the flying bug.
