Two gathering characters on one account? +spreadsheet

Hello everyone!
We all know, that botting more than ~10-12 hours is risky, but...
What if we have two gathering characters on one account-realm-fraction, Paladin and Druid (Minning/Herbalism each one), for example and bot them only 9 hours each in different locations&time (both=18 hours)?
I was trying to realise a "minimum risk&maximum profit" scheme, but due to my no experience, that's only theories.

This idea came into my head when I was thinking how could I maximize my profit.
Planing to have JW/EN and ALC/INS also on others characters, to spread materials to maximize the potential profit.

I have no experience in botting yet. I'm far away from the city, can't buy it, but I will, when I'll get back home.

So, buddies, can I hear you opinions please?

Well, actually it's more because if blizzard take a close look to your account, and sees that you're online 9+9hours+the normal time you play a day, it looks pretty suspicious.

There is a Relogger name: Areloger (do a search) with it you can do schedule and i think you can do what you want, now you post this u gave me a great IDEA i have 2 accounts on XXXX server, i will put one to bot X hours then go idle for X so when this go IDLE i the other one will start farming and repeat this process over and over,

Bayoya has a nice idea, but for me i can go for 15-19 hours a day on 1 toon with herb and mining and not get banned but my problem is getting rid of the ore / herb, Even with private buyers i have a few of em, But i send them each XX amount 2-3 times a week, But i only ever get the gold from some of them once a week. And AH is so slow to throw 5 stacks of each on every other hour. So i end up getting greedy and getting suspention

Do Blizzard often inspect accounts? If they do, do they pay much attention to your professions? The reason Blizzard would inspect your account may be some report from player, or the "checking behavior system", but since you bot on unpredictable schedule, and do PvP's, PvE's sometimes with two different characters, change the time from 1,12~3,4 hours, you should be less interacting with unwanted players, so there will be less attention payed to you.
At least I guess so...

I'll share my mini-monopoly system later, when I'll try it and polish for perfection.

I know there's a lot of talk going around about numbers logged on, but like colten, I bot in the 15-20 hours a day range. I basically only turn it off while I'm at work or while I'm asleep. I rotate them depending on if I have friends online.

It's all about being a good botter. If you log 9 straight hours in Uldum, swap to another toon, spend 9 straight in Uldum there, then spend an hour sending them to an alt and posting them, then log off for 4 hours..... yeah, it looks suspicious. From my personal experience, throw in some dailies and stuff in the middle.

For instance, last night I PvP botted up about 9000 honor for mounts. I left it running 7 hours. I then botted the TB Dailies. After that I went and posted up the herbs/cloth I got from TB and logged to head to work. It looks like I got sick of PvPing finally and went to do my dailies and hit bed. I know in a hardcore gold farmer's head it loks stupid, but for the 20-30min I was afk for TB dailies, I still cleared about 300g from dailies and drops and look a lot better if someone to report me during that pvp session.

I guess my point is: Don't be worried about how long you are on to a certain degree. Make sure you are smart. Bot some dailies or a 5-man in there, switch zones, chat with friends in org, or whatever!

i farm bot all the time 12 to 15 hours a day no problems here stil its not risky just farmbotting

I wasn't saying farmbotting was risky necessarily. My point was to be smart. You may not get auto banned by blizzard for farmbotting. However, if a player reports you, you have no chance. Doing other stuff in there at least gives you an arguement if you get reported and banned. 12-15 hours in one zone every day doesn't give you a lot of arguement.
