Two farming toons on one account, anyone do this technique?

ToonX - HERBS/MINES for 4hours
ToonY - HERBS/MINES for 4hours

To blizzards eyes, it looks like they only farmed 4 hours at a time and do not add up to 8hours for the account. As they do not tally the numbers per toon.

Does anyone do this? I'm going to be testing this theory on a bunch of accounts.





Theoretical-Proof:
Here's the reason why i think it will work, i currently have 7 or so auctionhouse toons on one account, each toon posts about 200mats a day. They have never been banned because it appears they only monitor per toon. One day though, i sent all the gold from each toon to a single toon, so 6 toons sent thousands of golds to toon1, instant ban day after. Yet the account had gone months without a single warning while auctioning. BAck in the day i use to get banned all the time by having a single toon auction over 1000 items a day.

I think your analysis is flawed, others have posted many thousands of auctions with no bans.
They probably monitor account time online rather than toon as it is easy enough to do and is better for them to spot bots.

The only benefit to using two different gatherers is less likely to have players report you.

I can do /who Twilight Highlands and point you 10 bots at any given time.

The secret is blending in as much as possible so people don't notice you online all the time, and make them less likely to report you.

Right now I have 1 Pally and 1 DK per account (on different guilds for added diversity), and do exactly that. One shift of 4 hours each (which is what usually takes to fill their bags).
I really wanna level more toons, but prices are way too high to not be farming right now.
My goal is, by the time MoP comes out, to have 9 farmers per account (leave the last slot for a banker) and do a few hours on each, or longer shifts and rotate them over the week.

So do you rotate 4hours each on a 24hour cycle? Or does each toon only farm 4hours per day max
