Two Ban in 3 days

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Frost Mage Default

5)What plugins are you using?: none

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 1/2 days a week last month, 5-6 hours only Honorbuddy.

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 0

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? no

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? no

10)EU or US realm? EU

11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Actual paid account

I run a scan on my pc, cleaning everything and starting fresh new.

Account closed - Third Party Program
Made several tickets, also to Senior GM with the same result, account will remain banned.

I used another account. Upgraded a Cata to MoP account yesterday and started with Questing, using Kick's Profiles, Horde side. Played for 4 hours afternoon, all fine.
No work for the night.
Tomorrow morning i started with Questing but wasn't able to begin the quests.
Decided to run BG buddy again.
Suspended account for 72h after 2 hours BG buddy only.


2 accounts in 3 days using honorbuddy. any clue?

ps. ive always botted with no worries in the past year, made tons of gold and farmed for 12h days in BG or with herb/mining.

Blizzard updated their /report function inside battlegrounds to include an option for cheating. Lots of players use this now. Was yesterday AV for you guys? If so, that would explain how enough reports reached your account in 2 hours. Someone here has said it might be 30 reports.

I dont really remember, but at lower levels is AV pop out really frequently.
This may explain why using BG buddy had this high chance to get the ban. To the other hand using questing is less reportable since people are not rolling toons in this period.
We may say that avoiding to queue "obvious bot" BG should be a start to avoid getting reported, as well as follow suggestions like typing in chat now and then and talking to friends as well.

(i actually did it today, but got the ban same way meh ._. ----> maybe the previous ban made a flag on this other account? why an immediately 72h ban insted of 3h or 24h?)

Routines to automatically detect a hack are stressful on their servers. Obviously they aren't going to run these routines against millions of concurrent players.


So they are using the /report to flag accounts. Once flagged, the routine is watching you all the time. So you have to be careful. Just stop botting for a bit.

Probably is the best choice so far to avoid the ban for now.
I think ill run only when 100% in front of my keyboard and can do other stuff as well.
