Trying to sell my main account...any tips?

Howdy fellas....ive fallen on hard times, got laid off from my job, spent most of my savings and im coming up on rent payment. So i decided i need to sell my wow account that ive had for 6-7 years and put most of my time into. Its currently active and ill be playing right up until its sold. Ive made a post on ownedcore.com so far and already had 2 people contact me on skype and try to scam the account from me.... so I ended up wasting half a day with them so im not too sure about this anymore. That being said is there anyone here with experience selling an account? What sites are reputable and / or forums good for selling? Thanks!

Well without breaking forum rules you need to know that only accounts with high achivs/rare pets/mounts and legendary weapons with titles that can't be gained anymore get decent amounts of money for them.
A bog standard MoP account with a geared 90 won't get anything but scam attempts unless you can convince someone you know to buy it.

To be honest if it doesn't have what I listed above then your better off mothballing the account or just selling gold off it, when I first started out botting I looked long and hard at selling accounts after levelling rather than selling gold but its a fool's game unless you know people in real life who want it.

Well it has 4 lvl 90s with full mal + 2 tyranical pieces (atm) and 5 lv 80-84 twinks. Lots of titles unlocked as well as rare mounts with rep and purchasing. Would I have any chance of selling? I dont have any legendaries though.
