new detection found it will stay active till they patch it out give them 30 or so minutes maybe a few hours.

Keeps our sorry butts from getting banned
 
I figured as much with all the bots shutting down at the same exact time. :)
 
i dont mind having HB shutting down, but closing WoW too is kind of dumb - so many accounts d/c the same time, its like painting a "BOT Sign" on our head...seriously.

I agree, it is like putting a big bullseye on us.
 
false positive. detection they have in place already works fine :P obviously >.<
 
I just had all my 5 accounts running and got to lvl 6 when all shut down at the same time :D

so is running x86 wow on an x64 pc. So is using CTM. So are about a plethora of other variables that they no doubt see all together on a users account and its a virtual certainty your botting.

I never got it, dont bot on an account that you dont want to lose. I get it now :P
 
Guys, remember that HB "hooks" into the WoW.exe. If the new detection is sweeping for this, even if HB is closed, I'd guess there would still be trace code in there that Blizz could detect, so my assumption is that's why everything closes down.

even if 1% or 0.5% out of all accs running x86 and CTM are legit, blizz won't use this as a ban criteria. There must be a detection code that hits 100% to avoid problems with legit players shitstorm\support issues.
 
Guys should really the sticky section and listen to raphus about posting Tripwire threads.
 
I am very cautious when i bot - and i know how not to get caught (i know, i might...no 100%) or at least stay "under the radar". I also know that there might be fragments remaining in the client which "might" be detectable - all this is right.
Here comes the "but"; Shutting them all down at once is almost like waving a flag "Here i am, just used a bot" :( ...i rather take the risk that they detect fragments. At least give a warning message - like: "you should restart" or something.
