after recent events I think the blizzard and messing the warden to catch people who use the bot ... tripwire (if hb is attached with wow) makes us disconnected every ... every time this happen its easy to flag people

this is my opinion and I'd like someone from the dev team comments on this thought

extremely doubtful, when they change something there is always an effect. If you look at the battle.net forums there are always people posting after hotfixes and warden changes that they can no longer connect or have issues of that sort so for them to sort people out by something so unreliable and unpredictable would be very ineffective.

It's a bad theory for two reasons:

1) No way to rule out false positives, thousands of normal users people log out every second
2) The devs have already confirmed the changes are real changes to Warden (new modules) and that the new modules "concern" them, if the new modules were just junk code to trigger a tripwire there is no reason that would concern them.

These threads are not allowed because your opinion is irrelevant, you are not well informed and have not even bothered to take into account the information that is publicly available

if you get dc after some changes in warden all time you are logging its easy to find the people that use bot...
its the 3rd time this week...some people got dc in that same time...if they continue to do it is easy to discover the standard
may be only a theory ... but I think it can be taken seriously

(new theory - tomcruise is an employee of blizzard)

Just No....I mean seriously think it through a little more

LOL

This is a good read for me in the morning, so fun to read all the theories people make about the Tripwire event, and the excuses they try to find for still being able to play with the bot.

Like how they play "Safe" with "only" Tyrael CR, haha.

Me, i have put the game on hold until i know more about this.

Cheers guys, keep up the comics

Do you laugh because you are programmer and you know whats going on and what warden is/do or because you have zero clue about everything and you don't know anything else than pushing the power button of your pc and for some reason you think you are smart?

They might be looking at the number of people who dc, or perhaps relying on the player reports of those dc'ing. The players might be pissed off at a possible bot, especially if it causes them to wipe an important raid.

Or my pet theory is that the multiple trips may be to make us paranoid and wary. You know just like the community is right now. Or conversely get us used to the false alarms and we ignore a real alarm. The boy who cried wolf syndrome.

We will see with time.

Remember whenever they add something in game on the fly like christmas or beerfest decorations, tripwire sets off. We are close to a new expansion maybe they are adding new things to the servers on the fly?
