About the Tripwire event that occurred on 16-Dec-2015...
As should be obvious, Bliz has applied another 6-month suspension to a significant part of our user base. For accounts that previously had a 6-month suspension (and put back into use), the penalty now appears to be an 18-month suspension.

As such, we have triggered Tripwire to preserve other WoWaccounts to the best extent possible.

If you are seeing this...
Logging in...
Tripwire Active, shutting down Honorbuddy!

Here's what you need to know...
 1. Don't Panic.
 2. If you have other copies of Honorbuddy running that are not disconnected by Tripwire (not possible unless you're doing naughty things), disconnect them as soon as possible.
 3. This Tripwire event is unrelated to any previous Tripwire activation. All this means is the game client was updated in a fashion that requires immediate investigation
If this is your first Tripwire event...
You can find more information about Tripwire here:

We are looking into the situation, and updates will be provided as soon information becomes available.

What can you do?
 • Don't make new threads regarding the Tripwire event.
 • Don't spread false information, and don't speculate on things you can't possibly know.
 • Please be patient—these things take time.

We have some ideas about what caused this banwave and we are considering how best to investigate them. We will keep you posted daily. Sorry I can't give more information.

We are hoping to do a new release and open auths in two days at worst.

Thank you for your understanding.

Things are looking good from our tripwire reports. We hope to be back online today. Raphus will provide more detailed advice on our risk assessment before we go online.

We will be doing a new release shortly and re-open auths.

We took all precautions to make sure the Tripwire service will have as close to a 100% uptime as possible from now on.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to give any information regarding Tripwire and its functionality for obvious reasons.

We believe the bot is as safe as possible, but there is always a possibility of getting caught.
Therefore, as always, we strongly suggest you to not bot with accounts that you care about.
