It works, but its not the most stable yet which is why there are no official downloads for it yet. Its better for the average user to stick with Trinity 2.x for now.
But if you dont mind some bugs and want to test it out, go for it. I do know that imxzjv said something about the latest SVN versions not being compatible with DB (it requires a new beta DB which is currently being tested before released)
