Edit: Fresh install resolved the problem! But now there is...

restore your windows hosts file

make sure you are using google dns

try a different region

All my problems were due to the fact that I've updated the files to version Adventurer 1.3.0.127
Why to upload files and to inform(to lead people astray) in the DB on update?

While I am sure most of us appreciate your work Tony. Its a little absurd every-time someone has a problem with the Nav serves the the only help they get is "is it working now?".

This problem has been going on since the Nav servers were put back in, and yet its still barley any better than 2 weeks ago. Is there any type of update on when they may actually work? My bot only dies 5 times an hour because its standing still waiting on them..

Im sure if DB wasn't such a monopoloy these days, or had some decent competition the Nav servers would be dropped in a second.

i am sure you can see that one wasnt the only reply from me on this thread,as you can see i suggested 3 steps above that fixed the problem

there are no nav server issues anymore,unless the user edited his hosts file or using a different dns

if you have issues,open your own thread and we will check it


when i am asking,if its working (even if there is no other reply from me on the same thread) it means we are tweaking stuff in the background

this is true. just downloaded the newest client, (which i am doing it seems almost every day, so whatever update is being pushed out by the automated detection isnt replacing the correct files) and i am currently waiting for the nav server.

out of my entire use of DB, i have never had so many issues since they implemented the nav servers. i too am experiencing at least 6 deaths per hour. the avoidance system is almost non existent, perhaps this is due to having to download character movements from a server or farm of servers. my character runs right into all the AoE it used to never hit. editing the combat settings in trinity doesnt make any difference.

since my last DB client update, i havent been able to run bounties, where the day before that was what i was doing for at least 8 -10 hours. now i am getting the same errors that alphatree is getting when trying to run bounties. on top of it, when trying to run nephalem rifts and greater rifts, it just sits waiting for the nav server.

My bot is sitting long enough to hit a 5 minute inactivity timer... and doing it consistently.

After an inactivity reset it will run fine for about half of a bounty, then start standing around again.

When there are no nav server issues I am pushing over 45-50 bounties an hour. That is for about 2-3 hours out of the day.

Right now I am well under half that. I have had more resets than completed bounties in the last hour.

This scenario is not working out for us (end users). DB has been broken by it's own DRM.

What do I have to pay you in order to get a Nav-Server-Free version of DB?

I understand DRM and protecting your IP, but you have to implement it in a way that it isn't constantly degrading service.

This error is driving me nuts.!

Right in the middle of a Grift, the bot stops and dies and that sweet error message is there line after line..."Waiting for Navigation Server..."

I am on a new Desktop computer that has been running latest DB fine, except for the now and again "Waiting for Navigation Server..."

My hosts file is fine! I am using a SSD and don't understand why this keeps happening.

It happens on two different Desktop computers that have 16GB SDRAM and very fast CPU's with not more than 30% disk full on either machine.
Always use a new folder and unzip DB latest and run as C:\DB.

This is a real bad problem with DB. Tony it is not a hosts file problem. Get your act together and fix the Nav Server issue!

I know for a fact that unattended botting is no longer possible - eventually it will get stuck somewhere for 5 mins or more while waiting for nav server. When it's stuck, you need to give it a little nudge and it will continue botting normally. However, if you don't manually push it, it will just time out until the game restarts. After a while, db may crash and manual intervention is required.

I used set the xp inactivity to 3 mins. Now I have to set it back to the default 10 mins just in case.

When the bot gets stuck for 5 mins or more and nudging it didn't help, I have to stop the bot and try again at a later time (maybe when the nav servers are not as busy).

About an hour ago, the bot stopped for a few minutes and manually pushing it didn't help. I stopped the bot. Now, the bot seems to work just fine (botting for over 30 mins already. So far so good....)

Over and over almost every client that has been using HB or DB is complaining about the same issue, and your response is this...

Implementing this DRM is making you lose more people then gain, I for one will stop using this useless bot in its current state, will also stop using HB until this is figured out.
