Transfering gold xfaction?

Is it worth it? I've been recently trying to dump my weekly gold supply but my buyers say theres no demand on horde, but had 100k @ $1.2 on alliance.. is it worth it to try to transfer it through auction house? not sure how much I'd lose on auction fees..

what is the maximum gold limit with faction change? same as a server transfer lvl 80 toon 20k, lvl 85 toon 50k ?
