Currently running the settings where i always keep 1 of the best with CP and IV. But wondering if it isnt better to run only keep the best IV?

Reason im wondering is i seen the bot transfer high IV pokemon's and saved low IV one's due to their CP. So now im wondering what is the best settings to go for and why i should pick that.

What settings are you using and why? Discuss!

Honestly, since you'll have to much stardust, it's probably best to use IV only. The exception being Pokemon like Snorlax that are hard to come by (I set exceptions for region exlusives, Snorlax, and Lapras to never transfer these) since you might not have enough candy to reach their full potential, or they might have vastly inferior movesets.

Personally I've been using the "Keep two of each, IV & CP" and it's been working well but I might start mixing it up to see what's best.

Really depends on what you want to accomplish. If you want to min/max pokemon, IV is most important. If you just want to mess around your city being overleveled, you're probably fine just keeping highest CP since you'll be so far ahead of most people.

In the future we'll probably (hopefully?) see options like "keep all over [input] IV" and "keep all over [input] CP" but since there are more important issues for the devs we've kinda gotta use work arounds until then.

In conclusion, even though it's not what I use currently, keeping high IV only is probably best. Set keep-all exclusions for rares/any pokemon you particularly want to keep if you're concerned about candies/movesets.

Happy hunting! :D

Keep highest iv better cp u can can change em by powering up but iv u can't power up so best to do is keep best iv then evolve it if it has the best move set then u power them up so u save ur stardust for the right Pokemon

no brainer - IV over CP, keep the top two IV's, at higher levels stardust and candy are a non issue.

Just make sure to check your pokemon every hour or so if just on high IV. sometimes you can get a cp 10 with a iv of 98 and they would recycle a cp 500 with iv 94. I know these situations dont come up all the time but good to be aware of.

Yeah, it's situations like that, especially with rares you won't have much candy of like Snorlax and Lapras, that I'm especially cautious of.

Getting a low cp Snorlax with 100 IV & inferior moveset then losing a high cp snorlax with 95 IV and a perfect moveset would suck

Just set it to always keep any pokemon you think you'll use later on for battling, then transfer the bad ones manually. Otherwise, always keep high IV
