Transfer Servers and keep gold

I'm gold cap on a low pop server, and want to xfer over to a higher population server, any tricks to getting 214k gold over there ? the limit on a character is 20k. Most of the items I could buy at AH won't would sell for way less on the other server. Any ideas ?

I had same problem. I just bought all kinds of crap from AH and resold it all on new server. I didn't keep track but ended up only losing 10-15k

Score high-demand items like mechano-hogs imo. If you wait a while to sell them (read: sell them after cata's been out for a few weeks) then you'll probably make a killing, too.

Ya, I think I may just buy a bunch of crap, and som high-demand items and see how it goes... like Battered Hilts , Choppers ... etc.

The best way to do this is, Make a level 1 character on the server you desire to transfer to, and work out what items sell for more on that server then they do on yours.
And only buy out the items on your server that make more money on the other server, This will guarantee that you make your money back and more likely or not
an extra profit.

Dont just buy what you "think" will sell, Go and see what will sell. Do your research and you will be making more then you originally had.

Yep, I have other 80's over on that server also.... it's a larger pop server, so not much sells for more on it, but pets, and rare type items go for a bit more.
