Trainer Level and items

I noticed when I logged into the bot that the pokemon being caught were low level (got it working last night and shut it down for the evening)

today I noticed that already it appears the bot thinks I'm level 5, not in the mid-20s.


Am I missing something? I thought I had read through everything but now I think maybe I just missed a critical piece.

I did log in using the same account I use on my phone, etc.

here ya go. my actual level is 23 with the appropriate XP, etc. i usually catch pokemon in the 19+ levels, but the bot is getting levels 4-5.
