I got approval from staff! Here is the program release :)

PokeReader - V1.8

PokeReader is a free program written in Java. It is designed to read the logs generated by the PokeFarmer bot and summarize/format the information nicely! It is very user-friendly and updated frequently. If you have any questions about PokeReader, or would like to report a bug, please leave a reply to this thread and I will do my best to sort it out ASAP.

I believe this will only operate on Windows. Feel free to try it on other OS and post the results, though. Untested.

As this is the first release of PokeReader, I would like to request that you all report any bugs you come across. Please also feel free to suggest additions to PokeReader. I will update as often as I'm able to.​

Change Log:

V1.1:

  • Added 'Pokeballs looted'
  • Added 'Great balls looted'
  • Added 'Ultra balls looted'
  • Added 'Master balls looted' - I know they're not out yet, for future reference.
  • Added 'Razzberries looted'
  • Added 'Potions looted'
  • Added 'Super potions looted'
  • Added 'Hyper potions looted'
  • Added 'Max potions looted'
  • Added 'Eggs incubated'
  • Added 'Flee count' - The amount of times a pokemon has fled from battle
  • Added a search function to display pokemon you are looking for quicker. This works with 'Above CP' and 'Above IV' filters. Now you can check if you caught that Dragonite right away!


V1.2:

  • Added 'Total pokemon caught'

V1.3:

  • Added a much better looking UI. The old one was an eye sore.
  • PokeReader will now remember your log file and load it up when the program loads after you select it for the first time.
  • Optimized the search function - The old one I implemented was very inefficient and would lag.

V1.4:

  • File selector will remember your log directory after you load it for the first time for convenience.

V1.5:

  • Fixed a bug where it didn't display Nidoran due to male and female icons.

V1.6:

  • Added a warning that is displayed if the bot has transfered Pokemon with an IV of 100. This is so you can tell if you accidentally selected the wrong settings for the bot. Here is a GIF of it in action:

  • Fixed a bug where the list would display Nidorans when 'Only show above IV' was selected, regardless of Nidoran's IV.

V1.7:

  • Fixed the wrong amount of total Pokemon caught issue
  • You can now quickly toggle filtering by clicking the checkbox, and it will update the list when you click it.

V1.8:

  • Added a scroll bar for people with smaller screens.

Thanks for this tool. Here´s a little suggestion: add a function which is able to combine all logs to one and load them instead of only one, would be great. :p
 
very nice. maybe possible to add a evolve funtion aswell? like if you find all pidys and you can choos what you evolve them into? i dunno if that maybe need to go into the bot and not a extra tool.

This program only reads your logs - it doesn't interact with the game or your account at all. An evolve function would need to be added to the bot itself. If/when they add an evolve function, I can add a list of pokemon that have been evolved by the bot to this tool.
 
For those that have downloaded, may I ask if it is functioning correctly for you all before I head off to sleep? Just want to make sure so it's working before I leave it for a few hours. Screenshots would be nice :)
 
Just as expected for java it comes directly with a runtime error while launching the application. Is there any log file location for the tool?

Could you give me some more information? What OS are you running? There is a button to select the log you wish to display. If you can post a screenshot I can resolve this quicker.
 
Running native without virtualization on the hardware.

My java says it is the newest version... On a different system with a newer version (dafuq?!) the application runs just fine.
 
so how do I use this? Nothing I click on opens anything. I just keep getting the "open with" window.

Obviously v1.7.0 build 45 isn't the latest, install v1.8.0 build 102 (latest), from here:
