To update DB, you must launch DB and it'll prompt to update. And to launch DB, you must first have D3 client opened up.

Is this safe? What if patch can detect old version of DB?

Wouldn't it be safer to include an updater.exe?

only if your region has the patch, hawker has said an honorbuddy update will be released for the patch soon

This is going to sound stupid, but I spent quite a bit of time (15 minutes?) trying different things to make this bot work. There should be an easy to check status (like the Realm status for WoW) so we don't waste time on something that's not going to work.
