Todays Patch, will it effect HB?

it wont start due to bossland and them needing to change offsets and stuff. 4.3.2 will also be a new build number etc... they will have it patched up usually within 4-5 hours after us servers come back up.

Can this be confirmed since I thought Boss and other mods were in EU, and I thought EU patches were the day following US patches. Atleast this is the way Pirox worked, and this is my first official patch since I have been with HB.

They patched over patched files, making client's partial data useless. Their idea is to clean it up, but doing this via patches would require lots of CPU and hard-disk usage (open file, search for data, delete, save the new file, open again, search for other data... as most of the computers can't handle 4GB+ of data in RAM). Thus they opted to let everyone download things again, adding content in the future rather than deleting useless things. This is why you have to download 5GB of patch, but you won't have to patch files in something like one hour (on slow computers mainly).

warden has NOT been updated, and if they wanted to update it, they dont need a patch to wow. and this isnt even a patch, its just an update to the launcher. we can see the moment warden updates are pushed out, and so far none have been pushed out during this maintenance period. so going "well im not going to bot cause it might not be safe" your never going to be truly safe, but as far as Honorbuddy is concerned we are STILL undetected. so bot on, and stop freaking each other out.
if your in US, honorbuddy wont work anyway. we are going to need to release a new version for patch 4.3.2, however to get started on the new version for the new wow client version. we need to wait for the servers to come up, so dont expect any news on it, probably till after EU starts coming online.
if your in the EU, RUS, and any other one, keep botting, until the servers go down.

That doesnt stop them from having US-accounts.
Yes i play on EU and sometimes the bot is ready for update before the EU servers are up.

for the most part yes, if theres major problems there should at least be a post with whats going on.

Sorry for the ignorant questions since this is my first patch with HB, but will HB be updated before tonight? Just curious since I use Lazyraider for raiding, and since tonight the guild is heading into DS as usual, just wondering if I am going to need to excuse myself from tonight's raid since I have yet to figure out how to play my new Feral kitty by hand.
Your best bet would be to excuse yourself from the raid and if Honorbuddy happens to get updated before the raid, I guess you could let your guild know you will be available.

yea, just L2P since hell you might as well, it would be sad to brag that "i got a level 85 druid with 990 gear (or whatever)" and not know a simple rotation.
like i said if you read my post, MOST of the time a new version of HB is ready when EU comes back online. if the patch is very minor, then sometimes updates can take a few hours, but etherway the team cant get started updating it, until AFTER US comes back on line.

Since I do not play on an EU server, I do not know when EU servers go up/down for maintenance. I have heard it is the day after US, but don't know this 100%. Someone else in another thread said that some mods play on US accounts, so it may be today that updates get started, or could be tomorrow. Just trying to get clarification. I am not being pushy or anything, just looking for an answer. BTW, US servers are back online.

Lol, I would probably think that if it doesn't work, then it hasn't been updated yet. Just common sense I guess.
