Timeless Isle - Crystal of Insanity.

Simple enough. Fly to Timeless Isle, load up the bot, and enjoy.


Can copy-paste the text and save it to an .xml, or right click on Raw and Save Target As.

Purpose:
Crystal of Insanity - Item - World of Warcraft
This item, the Crystal of Insanity, used to drop only from a Rare spawn in pandaria - it was highly sought after and hard to get. So hard that most don't know the item exists.
Now this item can be found on the Timeless Isle, you can go pick up the Crystal from its source - a cave.

This bot, when run in Questing mode, will run to the cave and loot world objects until it gets your Crystal - then it'll run to safety, and disable itself.
 
I don't understand what this profile does...Does it farm something on the isle, or does it fly to votfw to kill the rare? And if flies to votf to kill the rare for the item linked, what does it do when its done?

Crystal can now also be looted from the crystals in the cave. I'm guessing this profile farms the cave for the crystals.
 
I'm trying to run this but all it's doing once it gets to the isle is checking the flight point then mounting over and over.

This is on a Horde Pally with a brand new install of the test replease, is this meant for Alliance?

This is a bug with Honorbuddy's flight detection. Honorbuddy is trying to fly, can't, and tries another mount. Rinse and repeat.

I thought that I had resolved this issue, but it turns out I hadn't. Easiest way to, is to turn off "Use Mount" in HB Settings.
 
I have updated the profile to more reliably get itself into the cave and avoid the infinite loop.
 
...and sadly you just get nuked by those little annoying mobs inside the cave that pretty much one shot you when fighting them anyway :(

Honorbuddy > Developer Tools > Generate Hotspot.

If you'd give me the hotspot, I can check into why it's getting stuck. I don't yet know how to fix the mount issues, but I can fix stuck-spots for everyone.

until ilvl 550, i'd only farm on a tank char.

timeless isle is that bad..

its even worse on a pvp server... same faction PvP is insane.

I've been able to farm with a Demo warlock (Void Tank), and a Blood Death Knight so far. Filled with TOT(LFR) and Timeless items. Not too bad.

Deaths might be involved, but I wouldn't know.

The cave itself is fine, you can run it on maybe ilvl 400 gear, the water spirit mobs aka foreboding flames will probably explode for 300k (370k to 430k) near the end as they die. Probably not much more.

The high level tank gear is more for being swarmed along the way by PvP or the elites that often patrol outside. Some are soloable with pets, or as tanks, depending on gear. Ilvl 500 might be the lower end of surviving while AFK tanking elites.

If you're lucky, you might pull the rare inside the cave.
