Thoughts on transmog economy?

Hey all, was just wondering if you guys think that buying good transmogs low and selling high are worth it.

I bought maybe 20 different items for under 50g which are all worth above 500g. But the face is I haven't been able to sell one bit of them and it has been 4 days!
Any tips would be appreciated!

It depends on server's population. 4 days without selling something of 20 items is normal even on high pop server. I post about 200 items for transmog on AH on my low pop server, and sell 1-15 items per day (results very different). And most of lots worth 150-200g per item... Because I have double items.
I noticed, that items on 50-60lvl (from classic) is most valuable, because it appears less on AH.

You need to carry more stock and you need to be able to push this, make a thread on the forum(s) advertising your stock and bark your goods in trade.
Also keep listing things on the AH and increase the quantity, you can't push just 20 items and expect them to sell fast.

I do this on my main realm and have been very successful. But like teveel said, you can't just push 20 items and expect them to sell fast. I have a set budget that i pay per item and NEVER any more (25g is mine but depends on server/economy) and I resell WHOLE transmog sets. I find that the pieces are more valuable if you present them as a set. And you need a variety of items, so that if you find someone in the market for a transmog you will always have options for them. people like options. hope this helps
