This makes sense to me, but is it really true?

I have not botted after the whole tripwire thing. BUT... I was thinking that botting a cr (using tyrael as an example) wouldnt have as high chances of a ban. But is this just me being optimistic about what i usually use the bot for ? I realize there is no real answer to this, but maybe some of the programmers etc. in the community have a qualified answer? Would be appreciated.

In theory, it is less risky than farming dungeons or running gatherbuddy, but it is not completely safe because botting is not completely safe.

I see. I see you are a community developer. Lets assume the warden update was targeted against afk bots - aka maybe detect unnatural movements etc. When having honorboddy loaded, but not using this feature (since i am using Tyrael) would i be in risk for a ban of this type? Like.. I guess what i am asking is, does honorbuddy inject stuff to my wow that i dont use?

Warden is supposed to detect that you are running honorbuddy/glider/cheat engine etc. and report it to Blizz. *IF* there is detection (and from what we know, there is not detection), it doesn't matter what kind of botbase do you use.

This is right. No botbase is any safer or more risky after the tripwire event. If Warden has detected Honorbuddy then no form of botting is safe and you have the same chance to get banned, whether you're gathering for 72 hours straight or using Lazy Raider for 20 minutes.

This community is retarded.
