2 years means you got caught before. You must have botted on that main account for it to be suspended, even if it wasnt recently.

Just add another license to the same b.net account- they won't ban that if you don't bot on it, and you don't start from 0 either, you'll still have your achieves, titles, mounts, pets and xmog.

Yes, don't bot on it though- if you want to farm or whatever to keep your main in pots/mats do it on a separate account- there's a maximum number of accounts you can have under one btag.

If you must bot transfer things through low-level alts in a private guild bank. Being banned on any attached accounts puts you in danger of getting banned again, it's anecdotal, but it seems people that have been caught before are more heavily scrutinized during future scans.
