So i've NEVER found an Immortal kings boulder breaker, up until a few days ago.
I had been botting for 22 hours a day on 8 bots, for almost a month, and NEVER found one.
Over the last 4 days, ive found at least 8 of them.
Wut.. da.. fuq..
 
I've found maybe 8 or 9 over the past few weeks. I think that is really the answer of RNG. Lol. The loot table is fairly large. Your just on the other side of the table now! :D
 
Why can that not be random? Please explain it to me. Sounds perfectly random to me.
 
I see what he is getting at. I routinely will not see a particular legendary item for a week and then see 3 the same day.

Never found echoing fury before, but today found 3. all garbage but still, RNG is RNG.
 
Considering the latest patch doubled the Legendary drop rate, this makes perfect sense.
 
I have over 500 legendary dropped, but not even one lousy ik chest or ik weapon. Rng is not so rng, since i drop the same legendary on different bots in different days.
 
been botting since i joined and I havent found a single Tyraels might until last week where i found 4. So yes, RNG, theres still a bunch of legendaries/set items ive yet to find too.
 
Anyone factoring the increased drop rate for items specific to the class of the bot you are running?
 
I thing it's random to a degree but it's still odd sometimes, I only bot 2 accounts and the same account which found nothing in 8 hours had 4 firewalkers, the next day my other account had 4 vile wards within 12 hours, weird is weird, even though it is random.

edit: now that I think about it, my bots have been running for a few months and I didn't even know the IK set had a weapon, and one day I checked in the morning (i check every 4-5 hours) and each one had an ik weapon, weird :D

Don't get me started on RNG, got me flamed badly in another thread. With this much observation being done by many users, we all know what to expect in our bags and what usually drops, it is clear Blizz is tweaking stuff currently. I personally found some legendaries over the last few days I hadn't even heard of before, where before the patch it was the same few legendaries dropped for me all the time, no variance, after 1.05 I am getting a mix of everything. Clearly something has changed in the loot tables, hopefully for the better.

1.0.5 DID have a change in the way loot is done. Legendary drops were increased! Thats why you see "more" of a variance. I believe thats why everyone is noticing this.

Yes, there is definitely a noticeable difference I agree, the old RNG ain't what it used to be.

it blows my mind that people like yourself can be so dense. how is it so hard to grasp the concept that drops are random? your previous drops have absolutely no influence on current or future drops. jesus get a fucking clue -____-
