Think I'm banned?

Well i was in dalaran and bam i get dced i try to log back in and it says my info is wrong i successfully reset my pass but nothing shows up in my email. I never got an email that my info got changed either. So i have no received anything from blizzard am i banned? Or just hacked? and i was dced maybe 4-5 hours ago.

well if you were hacked they changed the email so when u tried to recover they got the email
send an email to blizz or call them and get this sorted out before it gets outta hand like them transferring them all and crap

Honestly i have no idea how they do it. They should have access to your inbox to click a confirmation link when you want to change your account email address but they seem to avoid it. Anyway as others said just tell Blizz. Unfortunatly it means your account will be investigated.

Well if hes a careful botter he should be fine. And i dont see why they would investigate if he was botting if he was hacked?

But you definately were hacked, the only way i could ever think they could do it is to hack you e-mail address and have password reset then change e-mail, then delete password and e-mail change notifications in your inbox. Then Tada they have a free account

When you're hacked, they do a full investigation into your account. They look at logs of what you've done since the time you say you were compromised and for a while before it. They need solid proof you were hacked and will look for evidence of an unauthorized login from another location with behaviour of someone raping your account. That means they'll see his mining and herbing habbits or whatever, vendoring saronite bars if does that etc. But yes, as long as he didn't abuse it then it won't look out of the ordinary.

I would recommend the blizzard authenticator if you're worried. While not 100% safe, they're extremely hard to get around. It's free if you have an iPhone or about a fiver if you want the hardware.

Edit: Infact it's also a good idea to have one because if you don't, hackers will often assign one to your account so you can't even attempt to login.

I say all this but I cba with one lol.

Well I checked the armory and everything is fine on my main i asked my cousin to check to see if i was logged in and i was not....I have no clue what happened.

The same thing happened to me and what it ended up being was a 72 hour susp. But if that were the case then you would have know within about 15-20 min.

Its been more then 24 hours no AND NOTHING i called them and they were to busy, i sent the an email and have not gotten anything back yet.

Hacked you can easily fix it though but depends, sometimes it can take weeks or hours ;\

Finally got threw...45min wait so i'm waiting now. Hopefully I will get this fixed i looked up al my char on the armory ad nothing was changed...
