It is a punishment from God for all the ungrateful c**ts that make 15 identical posts in the support section about authentication failures.
If you are new to this Bot, I'm not talking about you. They will refund your money if you want that, they will compensate you for the time you bought, I understand it's not what you expected, it was once and it will be again.
If you are like *Unknown* or *Wownerds* from this thread http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...s/79356-problems-i-dont-see-any-problems.html then YOU are the aforementioned ungrateful c**ts. In this hypocritical statement I am about to make, taking into account the nature of my current post, it is my desire to express the complete non-productive nature of complaining about the issue. We've complained about it since the pre-expansion patch came out. Do you think the dev team is unaware or your displeasure? I'm not making this post because I'm a kiss-up, I get nothing for it, I'm a lurker, I have 10 posts. I've been around since WotLK, I remember when it was just Gatherbuddy. I'm chastising you with 300+ or 1400 posts that think this is all about money for service.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT MONEY FOR SERVICE. If you're new and you thought it was I direct you to the second text-line of this post. This is a hacker community. We function on the basis of self-drive, principle, and rep. (which some would call honor or self respect). We are doing something that is against the rules because we think the rules suck. We aren't tearing something down, (those guys aren't hackers they're punks), we are building something up outside the accepted social construct of the greater community because that construct is faulty in premise. The community needs more, "What can I do to help?" and less, "I have 300+ posts so I have the right to complain like a child without their toy."
You have a right to feel frustrated. We all do, but that frustration has been expressed, ad nauseum. Try and remember in this frustration that the greatest thing you get out of this is the community, not the game or the bot. The game will not always be here, the bot will not always be here. There will be other games, programs, bots, w.e., THE PEOPLE will be the same. So try and remember that you are getting something amazing out of this even when the BoT is down, and that is everyone else here that writes profiles, donates to writers, tests for bugs, etc. You can't pay for that, it's not for sale, but yours none-the-less.
So I leave you on (hopefully) this happy note:
The bot will be fixed, even if we don't flame the devs. AND, we have an opportunity now, to help make a stronger community, not about the bot, but about like-minded people with whom we will work in other areas of programing and technology for many years to come, and to teach new-comers to this type of community what they are really about.
