So everyone probably knows by now that gathering herbs is currently #1 way to make gold. Problem is the market is limited. Demand stays the same while supply increases, meaning herb prices drop - not only that, but more people/bots farming herbs means less nph (or hph). Check Undermine Journal top sellers for herbs. You'll see "people" there posting 40k herbs in 0-4 days range - and that's the stupid ones, the smart ones post under different characters. That's 10000 or 50 stacks of herbs a day. Guess how many accounts you'd need to gather that much? Now here's the thing. They can (and I say they do) remove any competitors by mass reporting with different battle.net accounts. Mass-reporting highly likely triggers an automated GM ticket and further manual investigation, which will quickly get you banned. As a botter, they can easily spot other botters. And as a professional mafioso botters they're interested in removing competition to maximize profits.
What do you say? How do we deal with those fuckers?
