The type intializer for "Styx.Helpers.CharacterSettings" threw and exception.

I'm constantly getting this error when I try to run Honorbuddy. "The type intializer for "Styx.Helpers.CharacterSettings" threw and exception."

I tried a couple of fresh installs , updating the windows , I also run that mini file which downloads network 4 and stuff, I also deleted my settings folder , I also logged into another character and tried then , running as admin , running with different modes. But It just doesn'T run

It was working until I run a recovery on my computer and now It's not.

What could be the reason ? And how can I solve this ?

clear your settings folder and try again

also if you are on dx9 try dx11 and vice versa


in case you still have problems,give us your log

I changed in-game video settings from Directx11 to Directx9 and it worked.
