The perils of Noblegarden...
Noblegarden is upon us again. And, many new members may be interested in using one of the several profiles that do the quest chains.

Let us start by saying we've done no formal analysis, but have anecdotally observed an uptick in WoWaccount bans after this event for the last few years. We will leave it to you to look back through our (ban) forums, and do your own analysis.

The problem is neither with Honorbuddy, nor the profiles themselves. The 'detection' (if we can call it that) is being conducted WoWserver-side. Some possibilities include;
  • The dense number of players pursuing the same set of limited eggs probably increases the number of player reports.

  • Some WoWserver-side detection may have been put in place to identify players that are statistically 'too efficient' in collecting the eggs.
    We can think of a number of reliable ways this can be achieved.
Not trying to frighten anyone from pursuing the event. You may choose to do some of these events manually, skip them, or just "don't care" and go all out. Our desire is for you to be fully informed before deciding how or if you should participate in this event.

cheers & be safe,
chinajade

I've seen several reports about bans during this time. Personally I have ran 2 accounts over the past 2 years just on egg farming and collected 3 bank tabs of the mount and my accounts are still active.
