Yes, there is currency in the form of drops and Gs.

Well if david brevik is involved there should be... I see on their website they will have 5 heroes that will be playable for free, rest can be bought along with certain accessories from the "Armory". I jsut hope that their money making plan is not limited to that only, but on the other hand, what ingame currency can there be to be traded in a marvel universe, super gold ? :D

The currency is in Gs. Looking at the beta, 1,000 Gs can be equated to 1 month worth of farming?

Also, don't count on rmah in here if david is involved (but when i think about it, maybe disney's greed will prevail), trading will probably take a lot of work too... I am really curious what does tony has to say about this, and Tony, btw how do you even make that decision weather to develop bot for certain game ? I mean where do you get the playerbase number, when i think of it, marvel comics should attract a lot of nerds willing to spend their parents well earned cash D:

RMAH will not be implented in this game. This is confirmed ( /watch?v=jFW5JguKE1Y if you want proof ), but im more curious on if the BuddyTeam will make a bot for this. I dont mind if they put their bot for 100$, they make their bots so good, that I know I wont be dissapointed.
 
Haha, too bad that there's no RMAH. An RMAH would keep the China Gold Agents slightly more honest and slows down the death rate of a really bad game (cough, cough D3).

I would Definitely Mind Considering That Currency Will Be Impossible To Farm And Trade To People. Your Going To Have To Spend Hours Ingame Or On D2JSP All Day. (Which Would Result In FG Also)

Impossible to Farm/Trade currency = League of Legends?
Even PoE was farm-able but not tradeable :(
 
It's a f2p game, I bet there will be ways to acquire currency if not directly than through some kind of a scheme like bonus % or smth.
 
WoW did not have RMAH either, yet it was profitable.
If it is a mmo it should have some sort of currency and AH. I don't think a mmo of this age will resort to just spamming the chat. If there is currency there is always China sites or forums and such to sell.

The hard thing is to decide if there will be enough interest in the game to make a bot and to bot on it for fun or for profit. Considering how many comic nerd there are i think they could have the player base...i hope the gameplay is solid.

F2P games tend to have worthless farm-able currency but buyable micro-transaction currency.
