The Insane Title - Guide / Profiles [5.0]

These sets of profiles and overall guide of this thread is to help you achieve Insane in the Membrane Feat of Strength which gives you the title "the Insane".

The requirements are as follows to achieve this:

Description:

This is the first profile you will need to run, it will cause you to lose reputation with the Steamwheedle Cartel, but don't worry we will get that back once we have got this up. The mobs have a slowish spawn rate, it will always sit on one NPC as he spawns again in a few seconds. It will also pick up the adds nearby when they spawn every now and then as they give a bit more reputation. It ignores Deckhand Moishe on the boat as it is quicker to sit on main NPC and you can sometimes get stuck.

Requirements:

1. Bot Mode: Grind Bot
2. Set at War with all Steamwheedle Cartel factions

Information:

• Takes you to 19999/20000 Honoured (Highest it will go)
• Average about 400 kills/hour at 5 reputation for the main NPC. So about 6 hours to reach revered.
• Be wary when running this profile as you will get players trying to hand in quests to these NPC's and could whisper you, when you kill them. I recommend getting a Whisper plugin.

Description:

This is the second profile you will need to run and it grinds from mobs that will not cause you to lose reputation with previous faction.

Requirements:

1. Bot Mode: Grind Bot

Description:

The first profile will take you to Honoured which can be grinded on any character. It rotates the area. The second profile requires you to be a rogue to pickpocket the Heavy Junkbox from the quest Junkboxes Needed to reach exalted.

Requirements:

1. Bot Mode: Grind Bot
2. Rogue CC that Pickpockets - Can use this one or one of your own: FightThisWay - Prox's Pick Pocket

Information:

• First profile takes you to 11999 Honoured
• Average about 450 kills/hour at 5/6 reputation a mob. On first profile. So about 7 hours to reach revered.
• Second profile requires you to be a rogue to pickpocket the Heavy Junkbox from the quest Junkboxes Needed to reach exalted

Description:

You can run these profiles during the Darkmoon Festival. They do not have any effect on the other reputations, so you can run these anytime. I have included Timeglide's thread which will provide you will profiles and plugins you need, they are great and work really well.

Faldir's Cove 'Deckhand Moishe' is now ignored, since players can sometimes get stuck on boat and he is not worth the reputation gain. Northfold Manor updated mob location points and averaging about 430 kills hour and not been stuck. It also now ignores the cows. Steamwheedle Cartel - Lost Rigger Cove will be updated in a few days.

First post is done and profiles added. I am testing these myself as I go along with it. Reason I created this thread as having started it myself, I found profiles here and everywhere and it was all very confusing. A lot of profiles were also out of date. My rogue profile is yet from done and some information still needs adding. Any suggestions along the way feel free to post them here.

Yeah they have a low spawn rate, he is the NPC that spawns the fastest so it will always sit there. Only way to really bot it at the moment.

Yes, noticed. Well I'm done with Bloodsail Buccaners rep now and started with the pirates in Tanaris, he seem to ignore a lot of mobs, running around the same path pretty much but only killing like 3-4 mobs on his way.

EDIT: Nevermind, now he started to kill alot more.

All in all pretty good, but the "fightthisway" CC is awful.. My rogue pickpockets 1/5 creeps it gets near, because of it moving on to the next creep way to fast..

Nice profile, but I noticed the same thing as flowz. I think the goblins there put the char in combat, but since they don't attack him he just wants to gets out of combat and just walks away from every pirate he would be able to kill... Is this a CC or profile related problem?
At the moment I switched to [Rep-Grinding][Steamwheedle Cartel]botanist_rep_venture-bay.xml. Much better respawnrate in my opinion.

Thanks for feedback guys, I will look into that profiel, I had to make the Tanaris profile pretty quick and it was difficult as for some reason it was populated by like 20 horde.

Also will look into how we can improve the rogue pickpocketing.

Don't think this guide is perfect yet, it is nicely laid out. I just wanted to make it a lot clearer than others on here and collate stuff on one place. So your feedback is nice

I'm almost 100% sure that your Steamwheedle Cartel profile will NOT take you to exalted with everyone.
Gadgetzan rep stops at 11999/12000.

Dreadmaul Post is super crowded all the time, seems like everyone is questing out here with CRZ and I don't feel comfortable leaving my bot running for long periods of time with so much activity on top of her. Bummer.

Is there another place that is good for farming Heavy Junkboxes?

hello there,

I started using these profiles yesterday evening - got honored with buccaneers within 5ish hours or so, switched to the cartel profile just couple of minutes ago. My question is - i know it is just temporary, but it is wow 8th anniversary and there is an item in my bags increasing rep by 8% - in the long run this helps a LOT, so is there some way to insert some line in the profile which will use it every 1 hour or even every 8 secs ( the cooldown ) ?
same goes for guild battle standarts - would be perfect if my char can spam these on CD
