The future of honorbuddy

Honorbuddy has been amazing to me and i will always be thankful but lately i been thinking whats the future of it?

with so many users now, gather buddy becoming almost a instant bann, bg buddy is like 20 people in AV walking the same path, almost all profiles are buggy nothing working as smooth as it once did not many people creating good profiles others too busy to create there own after all thats why we bot our real lifes and 9 to 5 consume us..

so will the bot be updated to be even better? will we ever be able to buy private profiles that get updates and work well? or is this it?

maybe im just thinkin out loud i would be willing to pay more if it would work better and a extra fee for good private profiles..

I'd have to say the bot is pretty damn amazing as it is right now. Don't know how long you've been at this.. but I sure don't miss the days of key config files, setting up bars and waypoint profiles (glider). Frankly I'm amazed at what HB does. It's true that you don't see many "new" profiles coming out... but I think that is more because people use their own and keep them private. As far as BG's go.. I can't say. I never trusted botting in BG's. If I do, I use LazyRaider and just manually move around and target.

I'm sure in the future there will be tons of new and cool things.

Honorbuddy, developers and this community are awesome. You can start the game loaded a profile and in a few hours later you can reach a X lvl with no assist or a little babysitting, not mention there are tons of good profiles, dugenonbuddy, etc, etc really awesome.

I don't want to be rude i botting since glider times and of course i have been banned also in the big ban wave (glider), i like to practice a "non intrusive boting" what is mean i use my own profiles for gb/gb2, instances, pve with LR/tyrael, etc but is very annoying and i think a very bad reputation to see like 20 bots in one file in AV, isle etc doing anything, is like a full page commercial in a website very annoying, i don’t want to judge this kind of botting im lazy and all here we are botters this is like you threw stones against your own roof.


I love pvp i just play this game for pvp and i like to play for myself if i see a fellow botter in the arena using hb or whatever it's always put me a smile in my face and i know how itś works i'll try to get and advantage for that but for me this is a not intrusive botting and i love it, it's like human vs 80 % machine. In a few words I think BG bot right know don’t have the minimum quality expected compared with the rest of the bot. Sorry for my english oviusly is not my mother language.

In case you dont know you can purchase A LOT OF PRIVATE PROFILES for honorbuddy you just know where to look. There are amazing gatherbuddy profiles that cost money but work way better then any profile on this site. Just look =)

can you pm where to buy them? i might be interested in one or two good private profiles
 
Same here if you know anyone with quality current private profiles PM me, and thanks to everyone who has responded to my post, im not a programmer or script writer and dont have the time nor care to be so im willing to pay for flawless private profiles that work. Thanks
 
For what it's worth,I've always been in awe of bots before I even had one. As crazy as it sounds I catch myself just kind of staring at it once and awhile. I mean, the complexity of these things automatically simulating human-like behavior and finding random nodes (For Gatherbuddy) or hunting down players who are constantly moving (BG Bot).. I don't know. Maybe it's just me because I just use it and don't know the work that's behind it, but I find botting at large amazing and can't wait to see what the future has in store for the botting community.

I wrote a whole post then thought why bother make no difference anyway so I'll be short.
I dont use honorbuddy much any more as parts of it I feel is crippled gathering/bg afk to chancy. I have played routines for most classes none of them play as well as I do and some are just plane wrong.
Future for honorbuddy I have no idea it's handy for questing and manual /normal raids/flex/lfr and bg but for heroic raiding I have been underwhelmed.
All in all hb is good but room for improvement like proper dedicated pve routines with decent manual over ride for interrupting ect. Not sure how they will fix afking for gathering/pvp but I am sure they will address it in there time.

Edit* Just wanted to add that hb team is great a keeping us safe and the bot updated and I do appreciate that. Safety first.

I Love honorbuddy been using it for a long time now. I will Admit the old gal is gettn dry. The are plenty of profiles for anything you might want to do the problem is they're all so outdated they no longer work. With all the gatherer's so scared of ban's almost all the profiles that do work have gone private. No one feels like contributing without a fee. I don't mind chipping in a few bucks when something runs great and i feel like it will be kept updated and current. But I've had so many bad experiances from bigger names I don't trust too often. The old girl could use a can of oil.
 
I too would also like to be provided the information on where to get private profiles in pm.
 
Not sure what you are lacking. So far I've yet to find a profile available that doesn't do what I need it to. Believe me, if there is a demand for something, I will be the first to gladly make it. Right now I'm working on a project (plugin) that I'm not ready to release or even discuss... but I can certainly make profiles if there is a need for them.

I have always made my own profiles and have not looked at the gb2 profiles in a long time. I did not know there was a lack or market for these. I will see if I get some free time this weekend and try and put some up. I am also available to make a few that I don't post if someone is interested. I am no expert, but my toons don't seem to have any problems with the profiles I make.
 
Its pretty easy to make gathering profiles. I find using questbot works well as the toon can do different things changing stuff up. Farm for a bit then go and do something else and then go kill stuff for a while. Making a profile is pretty simple and then it might get complicated. Some I make just dont work, but its still fun.

I like HB because it fights for me and I don't have to remember what does what. I still like to play by hand or semi by hand. I do leave the boring junk to the bot.
