So according to the e-mail I received looks like they are retiring 5x bots come March, Buddywing included. Was a great bot.

•31th December2016, 23:59:59 - one second before New Year!
•New Year - Celebration!
•12th January 2017, The Federal Court of Justice of Germany decides upon the Honorbuddy case
•31th March 2017, discontinuing the following Bots: Buddywing, Tankleader, Archebuddy, Wildbuddy, Adenabuddy

me too..... this was one of the few saving graces was this bot in particular i got legendary status with bossland so i got a year of bots but my account was banned now they are killing the swtor buddy....
 
After hearing that they are going to discontinue the bot I immediately canceled my sub for swtor lol
 
This is just sad. I'd like to see this bot to be supported in the future. Is there any way we can do that?

Me too! :) Not even having it supported, but just on life-support as it has been up to now as well - mainly just updating offsets when needed. But I guess when there is a more complex update to the actual game it might take too many resources away from Pokemon. Aaah well, we can dream though.

Yeah something like that life-support with offsets would be nice. We could also make gofundme campaigins each time there are complex updates which screw up the bot to stimulate the dev(s). Much higher session costs should be implemented. There has to be some kind of a win win solution to this. Also we would get some users back with healing fixed :)

This is already the state of buddywing since release lol.

Tbh the bot should of been shutdown years ago. We got lucky it has been up as long as it has. You can also thank Bioware for turning the game into a pile of shit with their "focus on story" and chasing away tons of people from the game including people that used this bot.
 
Are there any other similar bots that one can use?

Ownedcore bots are crappier and not supported. Clickers and multiboxing might be the obvious replacement but grindier. For what is worth, I'm willing to spend more on this BOT but I'm afraid it is beyond help since those patches do take lots of work to do.

Nah man, we can't go out like that. Gotta be something we can do to prevent this from going under, I actually get a lot of function out of it.

There's always something you can do...

Give Bossland a shit load of money and make Buddywing profitable instead of a loss leader and I'm sure they'll be happy to keep it going for you.

You want to make something last in a business? Throwing money at a dev is a good way to make that happen.

I'm not talking about buying 1-2 more subscriptions either, I'm talking about buying 1000+ subs.

sadly news, was a buddywing user for about 3 years and want to see him alive in the future

mmm great bot really no.

i can say thanks Aevitas for work hard on fix this bot

but bot always was not good compared archebuddy or rebornbuddy.
 
We have decided to carry on with BuddyWing: The Old Robot. The reasons for this are that its losses are manageable and we know a lot of people really love it so it makes sense to leave it running.
