I am quite sure I have the most updated version so what is going on here?

The directx11 version is 64-bit and will not be supported and is highly unlikely to be supported unless square-enix removes support for the x86 version.

Switch to DX9 in the FF14 launcher configuration options and run the game client in DX9 mode
