Hi,

I wrote a little plugin to get the Coin Master achievement while fishing in the fountain in Dalaran.

To use with AutoAngler.

What it does ?

If you fish up a gold coin, it will throw it in the fountain so you get the Lucky buff.
When the Lucky buff fades and you fished up a new gold coin, it wil thrown again the gold coin into the fountain.

All the other garbage you fish up will instantly be removed from your bags.

WHen i save this to my featured profiles and i try to load it to my auto angler it doesnt show up. is there something wrong with this way the file is saved or what?
 
There's already a profile in profession buddy that does this that's built into the bot.
 
It's a plugin, so it goes in the plugin folder. As mentioned in my post, use this with AutoAngler.
 
I can't seem to get this working. I installed AutoAngler2 with SVN as said by the thread, placed TheCoinMaster.cs file in my Plugins folder and turned it on within HB but it doesn't work. I even put it next to the Dalaran Fountain but it just seems to wanna reach a School of Fish instead. Any ideas?


Edit: Fixed! I loaded a blank profile and went into AutoAngler2 Bot Config and set Poolfishing to False, just a heads up to anyone else having the same issue :).

My only minor gripe is that it will interrupt a cast to throw a new coin in if your buff expires mid-cast. Otherwise, working quite nicely, thanks very much for sharing this!

Another issue which may not be related to this plug in - but one I was having while using it nonetheless, was the bot not looting every catch. This is a problem since merely catching the coins doesn't give credit, you also have to loot it to your inventory as I found out watching the ach tracker in WoW.

If the bot don't loot always, that's not because of the plugin.
The goal of coin fishing is to get the coins very quick. If he interrupts a catch to throw a gold coin, then you have more chances to catch new coins ^^

Note : if you enable this plugin while you fish in onther places, the bot keep deleting the gray stuff you catch. Before the plugin deletes your silver and copper coins, u need to have them in your bag, and then the plugin can catch them up to destroy. To get the achievement, every coin you fish up is counted as a catch before it's destroyed.

And the professionbuddy throw the gold coins back now ? I made this plugin to not get my bags full of coins and other stuff he catch up in the fountain. When you reach the achievement, you do it with empty bags.
 
Nice plugin

It would be nice if it did not use gold coins when the toon already has the lucky buff
