The built in ChocobotRace botbase seems to be outdated

It cannot properly start a race, got stucked at the following panel.

Is it broken and would it get fixed?

ChocoboTrainer is the built in one. Chocobot is not a built in botbase, you'll need to inquire wherever you found it about it not working.
