The best method of farming gold?

Right im starting up a second account, whats the best way of farming gold?

So this is what I want, I want to farm for around 5hours a day or so to be on the safe side and farm some gold for PERSONAL use.

Here are my questions:

Should I buy a vanilla account to farm the ores? if so does that mean I have to buy all expansions ?
Should I use a guild bank to transfer ores from characters
Should I sell the materials on the farming account or on my main?
What is the best and safest way of doing all this?

Study the market of your realm.
It's really simple...

I farm gold on different realms, each has materials that are more worthy to farm than others.
For example...lichbloom could go for 70g per stack on one of my realms, but on yours...it goes for 20g per stack.

So in my case..it's the best idea to farm those...while on yours farming Cobalt ore or fel iron ore might give you more profit.

As for the expansions thing...if you won't go to outland/northrend areas then a vanilla will be fine.
And using a guildbank seems to be the safest way to transfer stuff, mailing across accounts has been reported a few times to raise flags and thus causing an investigation by blizzard.

Try to not link your farming account with your main as much as possible.
Just in case your farmer got banned it wouldn't get your main on it's way.

if you want some serious amount(for personal use)of golds you have to buy all expansions
i always use guild bank to transfer gold/items
and i dont sell items from my main acc

With a lvl 60 char, you COULD make like 900g a hour or 1000g. I personally, can make like 1500g an hour mobs for meat (that's without the use of a bot, cause i can kill alot faster,nobody else seems to do it, and they sell for like 60-70g a stack and easy obtainable)

But then again, it's all about the realm you are on

Well as a tip. When cata comes out you can fly over azeroth with your lvl 60. So if you dont buy any expansions and farm ores and herbs i think you can farm a decent amount of gold. On the other hand... ground mount farming works pretty good aswell only there arent any good public profiles.

Level only from 1 to 60 (about a week with hardcore day and night botting) But you wont have to bot the other week or more to get to lvl 80. You dont need any expansions. And alot of 1-60 ores sell pretty good on AH.

With only the original game and its free month you can farm for atleast 2 weeks if you are a casual botter. When you need more gold ingame buy a gamecard from offgamers to farm for a full month so youll have enough gold for a while.

I think you're a bit wrong about cataclysm. Yes you can fly in azeroth, but that's prolly gonne be a revamped area for lvl 78 and above?
Now i might be wrong, but i dont think they'll change azeroth 1-60 stuff

you will be able to fly ever where in azeroth once cataclysm hits

Maybe they will only allow flying in New Azeroth if you have the expansion, else ground mount

Quick question, I want to triple xp to 60 on a new account. Can I RAF with my main acc? would it raise suspicion if it ever gets banned? I should create the account in a different name right? what about the RAF
