Hello dear community,

Me and Shakazara have been working on a project. It involves taking every race and class from level 1, to 60 and in time it will be a full 1-85 questing profile. It will complete all the quests in each zone it levels in. We've almost finished the starting zones and are in need of your assistance. We need beta-testers to test the starting zones and throughout the rest of the project. If you'd like to be a beta-tester and help us in our journey then we need you to be able to fill some minor criterias:

- You need to be able to attach a log showing the problem.

- Explaining the problem in detail as much as you can (Screenshots etc are appreciated).


We don't need people who doesn't know about the general workings of the bot. We're currently looking for about 10 testers. If you wish to be one, please post a comment below.

This sounds like a lot of fun, could I possibly help out in the making of this?

Another profile writer couldn't hurt, if you wish to assist us in that department I'd be glad to see some of your work. If you don't have any accomplishments to show-off I'd gladly assign you on a part of the questing profile that needs to be done, and then later review it. But, we need you to be DEDICATED that is one of the most important things. This isn't anything you'll be jollying around with for a day or so, this will take weeks and we do not need people that drops out of the project. So be sure you're up to it. 2011-06-07 - We have initiated testing for starting profiles except for Orc and Trolls which we're going to finish this evening. To get access to the files please post your email address here and we will send you an invite to a program called Dropbox, it's like an SVN. Current Profile Progress.

1-12: Ready for testing.
12-20: Done, testing will begin after 1-12 zones have been confirmed stable.
20-30: - Done, testing will begin after 12-20 zones have been confirmed stable.
30-40: - Not finished.
40-50: No Quest Order has been created. - Not finished.
50-60: No Quest Order has been created. - Not finished.

What if the community just worked together to create one big massive profile for all classes?? o.O
 
i will help, im bored, i have about 5 accounts to run them on. im gonna be switching to alliance though so i would like to test alliance if possible

Look how Singular went.. Apoc doesn't give a crap about it now it seems.
 
thats right... such a project needs a good plan. its a long way from 1-85 for all class and race! wish you all good luck.
 
I'm currently working on a 1-20 Undead questing profile. Currently have it completed to 20, just polishing up some behaviors and whatnot so it's fully AFKable like the first 10 levels.

I'd more more than happy to donate the work to the cause; but it does stay in Eastern Kingdoms to continue questing through Silverpine Forest, and does not head to Kalimdor like most Undead profiles, so not sure if too interested.

The 1-10 could be used if nothing else as it stops in Brill and would be easy to have it jump on the zepp and head on over. I have, however, been using some of Vlad's wonderful quest behaviors, haha. Primarily MoveTo and UseTaxi so far, however, there are a few others I am going to have to use, as well, to throw that out there, too, if you were looking to avoid any non-stock behaviors.

While it is excellent, and I agree, there is a little too much grinding for at least me after having used Vlad's questing profile with absolutely no grinding. I imagine that's what everyone is aiming for, is a more solid and stable strictly questing profile, and not predominantly questing profile.
 
As much as i love having more profiles, isnt there already a level 1-60 profile that does exactly the same? :(

And it works?

Not for Horde, kicks profiles are amazing for alliance I hear.

And btw, after the 8th of June I will be more then happy to test the profiles for you guys. Im always a pain to the profiles creatores as I post about 2-3 logs of evidence and as much detailed information as I can. Have general knowledge of the bot. Can edit profiles myself for repair and mailbox. But I dont know shit about coding at all, repair and mailbox are and is my only knowledge in coding =)

Can do all classes and race on Horde side for you

Thank you, but as of yet, it won't be needed, since the only real part from 1-20 missing is the 5-12 orc (which i have scripted before, but not updated to the new behaviors), though such contributions is allways appreciated :P

@r00t: we allready know about his 10-60, but that has far from all quests done in each zone, and that is one of our ambitions (as that will reduce grinding to an absolute minimum)

Yes this maybe true, but I am speculating that several of the fourm members have recieved temp bans (As have I) while using this profile. I would all ways promote a person to build a bigger and better questing profile. Secondly, LowHangingFruit only does a few select quests, and than fills in the gap with grinding and this can lower the leveling speed. In NO way an I putting down the previously mentioned profile, I would just like to see what this profile could become.

While I agree it is a good profile. But it's not the best. It doesn't take on the hard quests and grinding is chosen to fill in the gaps created by skipping several quests throughout the leveling experience. This of course heightens the ban chance and creates a more slower questing profile. To be honest, to create a really good profile you need to be able to code in C Sharp if you want to take it all on.

Sure, not a problem. The profile is currently scripted up to level 30, however, there's a few behaviors and such I'm fixing up, some of the custom ones from Vlad have made the extremely difficult quests absolutely do-able.

Once I start getting it fully fleshed out 30+, I'd be more than happy to contribute, as well. I plan on staying in Eastern Kingdoms, and a lot of the profiles so far really use a lot of Kalimdor, at least horde side, so yea, just let me know! =)

Excellent idea for the project, too, really looking forward to seeing this come together. Anything I can be assistance of, would be more than happy.
