Absolutely, but isn't it the elephants turn to take a penalty? Please don't state such nonsense, of course they ban after player reports (assuming this is what you were referring to by reports).

On another note, more attuned with the OP... Yeah it's hard to say whether he/she believed it and subsequently backed off but definitely better than if your toon did not reply at all!

I've asked a GM though, and he said that they didn't ban/started an investigation for single reports.
If you get a GM to say something else, lmk.

Fair enough if you were referring to the odd single report. I also doubt they'd investigate only one or two across a large time-frame. However, once (and if) they start flying in then it's not going to look good.
