Updated: Should be able to update post titles as well :) Should be "Testimonial...."

I have been playing WoW for a little over two years now. I have power-leveled 6 toons to 80 and then again to 85....all on my own. I have done the mat grind like so many other players before me. I have always been skittish about using bots and to be perfectly honest, have turned in my fair share of botters over time. I always figured if I had to grind, then so should everyone else.

I finally decided to try a bot out and landed with using GatherBuddy. I only made this decision yesterday and almost gave up trying to get it working. But after a good nights sleep, I tried again this morning and have it all working now.

I have been watching the bot for the last hour and I have to say I am fairly impressed. It handles mobs quite well (It did just die for the first time and my toon is sitting out rez sickness as I write this), and I was able to blacklist a problem herb node on first attempt. The botted toon has picked up 5 stacks of Twilight Jas, 7 stacks of Elementium, 2 stacks of Cinderbloom and some assorted Gems and Volatiles.

I watched it get stuck in a tree while moving to a node and gracefully unstick itself. It isn't quite as efficient as farming myself, but I am happy to trade a loss of efficiency for the real life time gained back.

I am impressed and very happy that I decided to go ahead and try GB out. I am botting for personal consumption only and plan to run it only a few hours a week in the background while I am doing real life work.

Kudos to the GB developers and supporters. And a big thank you from me for giving me several hours of real life back!

I have already updated to not wait out Rez Sickness. Didn't seem like it was really neccessary since it doesn't enter combat too often anyway.

Thanks!
