Hi all:
This is a very specific issue that I have narrowed down with the Monk and Trinity.
My monk works quite well with DB. I have 1000IPH with a TR/SW/WoL build.
However, I can see one area in which trinity can be significantly improved for the monk.
I would like to use TR for movement only, since WoL is my main damage dealer. Using TR as a primary skill is not acceptable because the damage is too low at higher MPS.
When using trinity on the TR for movement only setting, there is a bug. The bot will backtrack after combat, using tempest rush, to kill INDIVIDUAL stragglers from the trash pack, one by one, that were left behind because of minimum trash pack size.
By way of example, I might WoL into a pack of mobs with minimum size = 6. Bot will kill 4, then start to tempest rush to a new location. HOWEVER, about 10 yards after TR, he will turn around, and kill ONE of the remaining mobs. Bot will then TR to a new location again, move 10 yards, then turn around and kill the LAST remaining mob. By this point, there is no spirit left, killing the 'flow' of the bot. This is easily reproducible. Note, again, my slider for minimum trash pack size is at 6. The bot should not be killing individual mobs like this. I have trash pack extend range after combat DISABLED.
This KILLS my IPH.
I know that this is the specific bug, because if I disable TR completely, my IPH goes up by about 20%. This is likely due to the spirit wasted on backtracking to kill individual mobs.
Anyone else noticed this behaviour? and if so, how have you fixed it?
