Hadnt been using honorbuddy for months before this, but one night I was leveling my character with bgs, and got reported by a player in one.
15min after this I was questing manually, running to a questgiver when I suddenly found myself 40yards away and facing the different direction. At this point I wasnt really suspecting anything because I didnt think gm actually have time to come look at you play. So I turned around and kept trying to move to where I was going when I got teleported to the same position again. This repeated 3-4 times before I just hearthstoned because I thought the game is bugged or something.

Went to check ah, was browsing it when suddenly I was outside the building near the mailbox and again facing the different direction. So ran back to the auctioner and instantly got teleported back to the same spot. Mounted up and tried to fly away but got teleported, and this repeated several times I tried to leave the spot. I didnt know what to do so just typed /sit and waited there 5min after which I havent been teleported since. Didnt say anything in chat because it was 4am in the morning with hardly anyone online so it would have been stupid to just talk to myself. No ban atleast yet, but definately wont be touching hb again on this acco.

You probably had severe lag.
I've noticed that small "teleport", you run and the game moves you back cause it didnt update.
When you /sat, you didnt do any movement and thus the game servers had nothing to correct and it stopped.

Try looking at port forwarding.

Well that only makes sense if he was lagging, unless his meter went red then all his communicating ports for world communication were open.

So unless this guy ran up to 8000 ping he should have been warping differently if it was lag. Not the exact same position, but somewhere a little more relative to where he was heading.

OP, make sure you monitor and record your ping too. It might be lag, but it could also be GM's as you suspected.

Definately wasnt lag or latency. I was at the ah almost a minute buying stuff and not moving before it happened. Also I had not been to the spot I got teleported before.

They do teleport small distances, ive seen it on one of my gathering bots. My bot was flying in vot4w and got teleported back like 30-40yards twice and before that got teleported to the famous hut and from zone to zone aswell.

I'm sure its not dynmanic hut, because usually the GMs get given a line of code to put in (since they would have no idea how to do it), probably something like /Tele 2032.23,500.32, 300.1313. Maybe^^

not really, they have buttons for everything in their ingame interface (there was photo of GM screen long time ago)
