Heya guys, I know it's off topic but I've been wondering lately. Are those TCG mounts on the market legit? or just duped shit? I know they can dupe deathchargers, but what about redeemed mounts?

just a warning from my side

- deathchargers are duped
- Vial of sands can be duped aswell
- tcg mounts, do you know the person, buy it. If not Contact blizz in a ticket after you bought it, to make sure the code wont be pulled back by the seller.
Its possible they sell you the mount and afterwards complain @ blizz that theyre code has been stolen. Its a known scam method.
- O and bank char or not, i wouldnt buy from a lvl 1 char.

just my 2 cents

I see people moaning on a daily basis to know the above is correct.

eg: spectral tiger (rare one)
It's sold for 250k face to face trade on frostmourne. Many sellers are lvl 85 with decent gear. And there are a lot more of those TCG mounts lately on Frostmourne US. Idk, I just want to keep something that doesn't lose its value and wait for MoP, got tons of mats already tho. Please share your experience.

You scratch the card, get the code. Go to Booty, and redeem the code for a BOE mount or BOP pet. The mounts are according to blizz - not duped. Thou I think they wouldnt addmit it if they were. Any way - the scam about claiming code to be stolen doesnt apply here. All the mounts are sold in game - either by trade or AH, all movements and dialogue is trackable. This is the way blizz intended it to be. The question is why there are so many available now? The cards them selves - providing the codes, could be many years old - and they could have saved them for many years before they now decided to cash them in for huge amounts of sellable gold for the MOP release. No one realy knows, but the numbers of mounts seem to be dropping on most servers, and prices going up again.

My theory - no dupes, gold farmers have stacked mounts for years to get the best profit. And now, with account wide mounts coming - prices will drop like a dead duck.

Will blizz bann account, keep mounts or gold? I dont know - but really doubt that blizz will both take the mount and the gold. Maybe if you bought an Amani for 30K of a lvl 1. But not for normal trades over the AH. I really doubt it.

I have gathered the physical cards for many years, and had most of the mounts prior to the landslide. The result is that I cant use them any more - because morons will flame you for being a "buyer". Sad situations - but hope its all forgotten in a few months time.

Just let common sense speak up : when expensive items suddenly multiply like Jesus was bored of fish, something's fucked up. It isn't hard to level up a 85 char for scamming (or to scam / steal an account right away).

I've heard a lot of people complaining about losing the TCG mounts they bought, however this was ONLY when they made a ticket asking if it was legit or not. I've also heard much good for people who are happy with their shiny new death charger which only cost them 20k. I'd suggest that if you can get a TCG mount for a low price take it, it's probably duped but if you don't tell blizzard you will most likely come out clean. I wouldn't buy the code itself though, much safer to buy the already redeemed mount.

I can 100% say that buying serial codes is illegal so for the pets or mounts from the store that can only be retrieved with a serial code. The most sellers indeed often scam by retrieving the serial from blizz(stolen,..). If you then complaint at blizz you wont get a gold refund not will you retrieve the mount/serial. They will however point out it was illegal to purchase a serial and will give you a warning.

Now for tcg, They said that the only way to obtain it is to trade the item itself. In that case its legit and a safe trade.

How i know this? GM and customer support
