Task exception error - Honorbuddy v2.5.8562.705

First time here, so hi all.

OK been using HB for awhile, with the usual collection of issues and eventual solutions - thanks to the team and posters.

A new error appeared with the last update:

"A Task's exception(s) were not observed either by Waiting on the Task or accessing its Exception property. As a result, the unobserved exception was rethrown by the finalizer thread."

Soon after this the usual report to Microsoft crap appears then HB closes.

This occurs during Initializing Routines and seems to be more likely when I have my Monk open. Initialization will complete before the Microsoft error window pops up.

Only shutting down and restarting the machine will allow me to logon and run HB again sometimes.

The machine is up-to-date re XP-SP3, AVG is disabled and I have tried with and without plugins - no difference. I have clean installed HB both with installer and zip several times - no change.

I have attached a log file in case its of use.

I await input for those more knowledgeable than me.

I was having the same issue ,i reinstalled honorbuddy,.net framework rebuilt files ran repairs deleted all addons, plug ins and everything else i could think of doing. if i tried to load HB again and again it would go through eventually but i would always have to go on buddy auth and kill the process and try to log in again until eventually it would go through.I got tired of it and did a complete os reinstall and fresh hb.

Seriously! Well that seems ridiculous. Someone from the HB team please respond to this issue. I seriously do not want to do an OS clean install - that would a major pain in the arse. Further, whats to stop it from happening again????

I am not saying that's what needs to be done btw, I just got tired of it and said f#$% it clean everything.
