Tankleader 2.1 wont register tanks in my garrage

I purchased a lifetime key for tankleader. I used tankleader 1 for a long time very successfully. I took a bit of a break from WOT. I recently downloaded tankleader 2 and when I go to run it... my key works fine... It just cant register the tanks in my garage.

I downloaded V 2.1 for the 9.8 update. I am running SD version of 2.1

The error message I get in tank leader is

Ok... I finally got it working.
I am on windows 8.

Before I posted I made sure that the C and .NET were updated (I even used the tool that you guys posted).
I then tried manually to install both from microsoft and they told me I was already up to date (in case the tool wasnt working properly).

Late last night I found some random update that allowed Tankleader to work. All I can say is... try updating windows if you have any problems. I don't remember which one it was (or if it was even a .net or a c related update- I dont update often... I had 170 recommended updates to install). I was updating a few things at a time and trying it dafter every update and finally it worked.

Hope this helps anyone with this problem.
