Greetings, I am a new user and I am not sure if this is the right forum to post in. I am using HB to level a Dwarven Paladin with Nuok's excellent questing profile

I got him up to about level 17 before I noticed that his talents were not being automatically assigned. I am not sure why I expected this to be automated but it caught me by surprise when it wasn't :p

Is there a plugin that exists that assigns talents based on common specs or am I stuck doing it manually?

Yes there is. It is called talented.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I did not do anything with Honorbuddy relating to "class," other than enabling the following CC, which has been working well so far.

If there are default settings for "Ret Pally," then I did not see them.

If you mean "Have I chosen the right build for leveling," then, yes, I am using the appropriate leveling spec for Ret.
 
Isn't talented included with the latest version of HB ? just go to your plugins and tick the enable box then select your class and spec. Also remember that not all talents and specs are supported.

Thanks. Does HB ship with Talented enabled or do I need to load it manually? If it does then I think I may need to reinstall Honorbuddy. I have had some problems with directories being in the wrong place.
 
The latest version of HB ships whit Talented.

Go to Plugins Tab>Talented>Settings button> choose spec
 
I enabled Talented yesterday and everything is working now. TY for the help.
